Major League Lacrosse

Brendan Mundorf leads the Denver Outlaws and is tied for league lead in points with 15 (10 g, 5 a), while Peet Poillon is 8th in MLL with 13 (10 g, 2 a) for the Outlaws.  Two other Retrievers also play for Denver, as Drew Westervelt (7 g, 2 a) and Terry Kimener (3 g) have helped the team jump out to a 3-1 record.

Major League Soccer

Levi Houapeu has played two full matches for the reserve team of Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union.

North American Soccer League

Matt Watson scored the game-winning goal for the Carolina Railhawks, who are 9-1-1 in the NASL. Watson, the second-longest tenured player at Carolina, scored in the 53rd minute to deafeat Edmonton and secure his sixth career goal for the Railhawks.

Baseball

Zach Clark is 5-5 with a 4.35 ERA and 46 strikeouts for Double-A Bowie this year, while Dan Blewett is 2-1  with a 2.65 ERA in three starts for the Lake County Fielders of the independent North American Baseball League.

Baloncesta Superior Nacional, Puerto Rico (Basketball)

Ray Barbosa has played in 23 games for Vaqueros de Bayamon and has scored 67 points. Bayamon is 18-9 this season after being runners-up last year. They won the Baloncesta Superior Nacional in 2009.
