Swimming and Diving Holiday Training Trip – January 3, 2010

The swimming and diving teams have concluded their holiday training and will be heading back to Baltimore uber early in the morning. On this last full day in Floriday, the Retrievers faced NC State in timed races to meet NCAA requirements. A special thanks to Sid Cassidy, head coach at St. Andrews, who came in at 7:30 on a Sunday to be the starter for the meet. Here’s some photos from the meet.

All smiles for the last day of practice.

Some brotherly love amongst teammates.

Trying to keep warm in between heats.

In the afternoon, UMBC had its final practice of the week, which ended with a traditional picture of the entire team in the pool.

Last time in the training pool this year.

During the evening, we went to Bob’s Pizza around the corner from the hotel before heading to Boomers for mini golf and arcade games. Congrats to Laura Tilman and Steve Gallagher, who won the mini golf contest with a combined score of 79. Here’s some pics from the evening.

Coach Cradock

Thanks for reading this week. The Dawg Blog will be back later in the week with video compilation from the entire week.
